Parent Volunteers Needed
Julie Winter, Volunteer Coordinator (373-0605)
Lots of “finger desserts” are needed for the Parent
Information Nights on February 18th and 26th.
Please let Julie know if you can bring desserts or if
you can come help on one or both of the nights.
Help in the classrooms is always needed.  Please
talk with your Parent Representative (see page 10
for contact information) if you can volunteer in
this vital role.
MPA Treasurer needed for next year
Livia Wyman has been our dedicated treasurer for
the past several years, even after her child has
graduated from 6th grade!  We need nominations
of parents who would like to serve in this elected
position.  Livia tells me that she’s got it all organ-
ized and ready for someone to easily take over.  No
experience necessary.  Please contact Rena Caton
if you are interested in this position for next year.

The Snowman/Winter Giving Garden
The Giving Garden will continue through the end
of the school year.  It is a great opportunity to sup-
port our teachers with items they have requested
for the classrooms.  Money you spend on items is
counted towards your volunteer hours ($10 = 1
hour).
If you have any questions contact Monica Philips
at 830-9502.
Teacher Training Support Group
Al Chan, Chairperson (830-5212)
This group is looking at the importance of Mon-
tessori training for all our teachers.  It is the goal
of the group to provide support for the teachers to
acquire Montessori training and certification.
As a part of the Snowman Giving Garden there is
the option to make a cash donation to go directly
towards teacher training costs.  The donation box
will be at the front office through February 20th.
Please consider making a donation to show our ap-
preciation to our teachers.
If you are interested in joining this group and
helping to maintain the integrity of our Montes-
sori program, please contact Al.
PR Committee

this group.
